The Inventions course was an opportunity for Algis, Mike and I to present a series of design activities to a group of students at the Urban School in San Francisco over a period of three months. We introduced concepts like simple machines, gears, torque, and electricity, as well as cricket-based explorations.
What excited us most about the class was the opportunity to work with Algis and his students over an extended period of time in the realm of physics, art and technology. The students made several visits to the Exploratorium to work on their project designs with us in the Production Studio.
