Arthur Ganson, an artist-in-residence at MIT, artfully engineered his 2nd Chain Reaction Event at the Exploratorium. He invited staff and volunteers to participate by building "mini-events" or contraptions that would trigger each other. We got excited about creating something with crickets, and ending up building an array of polaroid cameras which triggered each other and produced crude 360-degree photos. Polaroid images ended up raining down on the crowd as they reacted to the contraptions. We had a great time!
