This one is probably the most straight forward contraption so far (it uses 1 motor and 1 cricket).

Thin wire runs up through the aluminum tubing and has something fairly lightweight attached to it. When the motor turns on it flutters around with a nice random looking motion.

touch switch
light sensor
distance sensor
